DMCA Copyright Policy
Last updated: May 2026
SaveTTok Media LLC ("SaveTTok") respects the intellectual property rights of creators, artists, and all rights holders. We are committed to complying with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA) and responding promptly and appropriately to valid notices of claimed copyright infringement.
This policy explains how SaveTTok handles copyright concerns, how rights holders can submit a takedown notice, and what happens after a notice is received.
How SaveTTok Works — Context for Rights Holders
SaveTTok is a web tool that allows users to download publicly posted TikTok videos for personal offline use. We retrieve content from publicly accessible URLs — we do not host, cache, or store copies of videos on our servers beyond the duration of a single download transaction. Once a file is streamed to a user's device, we retain no copy of it.
Because we do not maintain a library of stored videos, the traditional DMCA "takedown" process — which typically asks a service to remove a specific file from their servers — operates differently in our context. What we can do is block our service from processing specific URLs or content associated with a specific creator or rights holder.
We want rights holders to understand this distinction clearly, because it affects what a takedown notice can and cannot accomplish when directed at SaveTTok specifically. The most effective way to prevent your content from being downloaded is to set your TikTok account or individual videos to private, which makes them inaccessible to our retrieval system entirely.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that your copyrighted work is being infringed through the SaveTTok service, you may submit a takedown notice to our designated DMCA agent. For your notice to be valid under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), it must include all of the following elements:
1. Identification of the copyrighted work
A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed, sufficient for us to identify it. If multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list is acceptable.
2. Identification of the allegedly infringing material
A description of the material you believe infringes your copyright and information reasonably sufficient for us to locate that material. This typically means the specific TikTok URL(s) involved.
3. Your contact information
Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address. Anonymous or pseudonymous notices cannot be processed.
4. A statement of good faith belief
A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement of accuracy
A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
6. Your physical or electronic signature
A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.

Counter-Notification
If you believe that material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). A valid counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification
- Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if outside the United States, to the jurisdiction of any judicial district in which SaveTTok may be found
Repeat Infringer Policy
SaveTTok maintains a strict policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. A repeat infringer is a user who has been notified of infringing activity more than twice and/or has had content removed more than twice.
Abuse of the DMCA Process
Please be aware that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. We take false claims seriously and reserve the right to pursue legal remedies against those who submit fraudulent or abusive takedown notices.
